Contax RF / Kiev / Nikon S
Contax RF or Contax-Bayonet Kiev (Nikon S) - bayonet lock lenses and small-format rangefinder cameras, as proposed by Zeiss Ikon in 1932. In Germany Contax-Bayonet Kiev cameras used for «Contax I», «Contax II» and «Contax III». Produced by the company Carl Zeiss interchangeable lenses. Worldwide Contax-Bayonet Kiev is known as a bayonet mount Contax RF.
Contax-RF Bayonet Kiev consists of two interconnected mount - indoor and outdoor. Mounted in the inner bayonet, fixed rate from a spring located on the body of internal bayonet ring. The inner ring is connected with a bayonet and a range finder is also focusing mechanism - the rotation of the ring is his nomination along with the standard lens to the subject.

Universal normal speed lens is provided with iris diaphragm. Iris: dual-ring. Coated optics.
The lens is "Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1:2 / 5 cm" for Contax cameras were designed in the early 1930s, Ludwig Berthelot (Ludwig Bertele). Documentation for many German lenses (which included, among others, and Sonnar 2 / 5 cm), together with the technology, materials and equipment for their production have been obtained in the Soviet Union by way of reparations. At the beginning of production at KMZ and labeled - "ZK" - "Zonnar Krasnogorsk."
